    Anyone that has purchased a notebook from dell is it typical to get your notebook before the preliminary ship date? Was hoping that it would get here before the projected 17 days.

    lets see... I order a i6000 on Dec. 24, just shipped today. I should get it on Jan. 4. When I ordered it they said the ship date would be Jan 11.

    They really over exaggerate the ship date.

    I got my 9300 in 5 full days
    Ordered on the 15th and it came in on the 20th

    Yeah, Mine was 5 days from order placement (on a Sunday... guess those 7 year olds in Malaysia work weekends) to reception on a friday.
