    You could try to uninstall as much as you can,however I have not been a fan of this because sometimes uninstalling does not get rid of all the registry updates the program made, which in turn can still slow down your computer. I recommeded doing a format and fresh install of XP.

    Nice setup :) I agree with Nesbo that a clean install is where you would most likley want to do. Unless you are a fan of digging in teh registery and pulling things out, a clean install is always better. You get get a XP reinstall CD in your package so that will not be a problem. Jsut stick it in and follow the instructions.

    Reformat. When i got my 8600, i started to uninstall their software, then I realized that resistance was futile and reformated the damn thing. They load way to much crap on their systems.
