    quick question w/ 9cell battery

    does a 9cell battery on the vostro 1400 raise the laptop or does it just stick out? and i read that the battery doesn't attach firmly and it slightly wiggles, is that with all vostro 1400's or just the defects?

    It sticks out of the back. Almost all if not all of Dell's sticks out, never raise the laptop like HP's. Although the XPS 1330 might, I'm not sure on that. About the wiggles, I think that's just defects. But then again, I don't have a Vostro1400.
