Perhaps the system is overheating? Have you been monitoring your temperatures?

haven't been monitoring them, but i kind of ruled it out since it only happens in specific games, and usually after it restarts once it doesnt do it again for a very long time

    10/4/2007
    version 7.15.11.5669
    provider Nvidea
and i have been messing with the video drivers so that might be the problem

Left click the battery icon in the system tray, it will give you three options. When playing games, or generally when your using it and it is plugged in, set it to high performance. Otherwise, if you are on battery switch it to power saver.

Check out the forums at laptopvideo2go.com. I recommend installing 174.74, as they have been the most successful for me.
