    How do i take all my stuff of my laptop so i can return it to the shop ? " IE REBOOT IT " or return factory settings it a 1525 inspiron :confused: Please help

    Assuming you have backed up all your data, you can either boot from the recovery DVD to get the Inspiron back to factory settings, or you can use something like Active Kill Disk to wipe the drive.

    If it is like most new dells, they come with a recovery portion on the drive, so when the laptop is booting up in bios just hit F11 or one of those lucky keys

    and should direct you through the process

    you mean, recovery partition, piker28. the inspiron e1405 laptop I'm using has that along with a dell recovery dvd.
