what is readyboost? google it
now i've been looking online for a while about this, and i was wondering if anyone with the new inspirons have tried readyboost and seen a difference?
my sdcard/usb drive aren't compatible =(

With 2GB of system RAM, youll hardly notice any difference.

Yes, readyboost is mainly designed for people with 1GB of RAM or less. Having 2 or 4GB will basically render it useless. Readyboost is only for storing cache that would be normally stored on the HD. If you have that much RAM, then the system is going to store those files in the RAM, defeating the purpose of Readyboost.
