well i love it for the most part, the uxga screen is not too small to deal with at all, in fact i think its perfect, but its got the damn hump in the middle of the keyboard, im gonna search the forum but thought i would throw a heads up to if someone has a post on how to remove the keyboard and fix the cables

    Keyboard removal is a cinch.
Here is a link to the service manual for your reference in the matter:
    http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/xpsM1530/en/SM/index.htm

I replaced the LCD on my M1330 today and had to be sure to set all the cables in properly, just start at the place where they connect to the mainboard and slowly pull them into place away from their connector (but be sure to be gentle and not to pull on the connector itself). On the wireless antennae you can store the excess wire in the mini PCI-E slot area, on the video, mic, and camera cables, you can push the excess into the display assembly some and also put it in a little space next to the display hinge.

all fixed, all the cables were in there spot properly but were just not flat, flattened them out quite easily and keyboard now sits nice and flat, took maybe 10 minutes.

Well I don't feel comfortable taking my keyboard off (I guess I originally didn't even feel safe doing a clean Vista install) but if it is barely noticeable and doesn't touch the screen or anything, at least it doesn't seem to... should I bother? It has a hump... around F7 - F9... but it probably wouldn't be noticeable if I hadn't been reading these forums haha.
