Just got my i8600 today, after FOUR grueling days of waiting... lol dell has a miraculous shipping system, since the ram i bought for the laptop 2 weeks ago hasnt even gotten here yet.

    1.8 ghz intel centrino /w wsxga+
256 mb pc2700 ram [waiting for the 1 gig of ram to come in]
    60 gb 7200 rpm hd
    128mb radeon 9600
    cdrw/dvd combo

First impressions: Seems very solid, although it does overheat on the backsite a little. I still dont know what keyboard flex is, and im probably not going to since this keyboard is very solid. The resolution on the wsxga monitor is insane.. everything is very very clear, and easy to read. The touchpad seems to be a little quirky, after i have my finger on the left click, it would inadvertently click.. but that alright since my usb mouse perfectly matches the color scheme of this laptop, and ill be using that.

This laptop was quite a bit bigger than i thought it was going to be, but that's better i guess. I cant seem to figure out how to network this thing wirelessly in my home network tho... if anyone can help out or gime a link i would be grateful. Do i need to hook a cable from my netgear router to my laptop, or is the intel b/g card in it supposed to do something i havent seen yet? [i have a wireless netgear card that came with the router, but i wana not use that if possible.. my new desktop parts came in today also and i need my new desktop to use the wireless card]

i cant wait to beat the crap outa myself on warcraft 3[ :)]
