    remote not working

    i have inspiron 1420 shown in my sig with the ir remote. last day i formatted & reinstalled windows vista sp1. my ir remote stopped working. is there a solution to this.

    ps: i dont use media direct. i have uninstalled it

    uninstall it under device manager and plugging it back in

    I think it only works for media direct and windows media center ...I may be wrong though...
