Is it possible to remove MediaDirect partition from the harddrive without re-installing the whole system?

I just want to get rid of MediaDirect because it's using 3GB of space and I'm not utilizing MediaDirect.

Or maybe I can just remove it through the Disk Management utility in Vista? The reason I was asking is because I don't want to remove any boot partition or whatever and not have my system boot anymore.

Also when I started the Disk Management utility I noticed a partition called "EISA Configuration" that is 47 mb. What is it? Can I remove it aswell?
