hey, im new here, recieved my m1330 recently but getting a replacement.
On my replacement order, they didnt add bluetooth built-in

Does anyone know how i can remove the bluetooth card?
i was thinking of taking it from my laptop and placing it in my replacement laptop.
    thanks!

PS. also if i was to change it, will i see the blue bluetooth light up icon on the media bar?

theres always bluetooth dongles wij can be an easy addone for $10 or so
bluetooth is usually an option along with the wireless card
so th dongle may be a good option!

Why bother to add a clumsy external one when the system should have come with internal bluetooth. Ask a Dell technician to install it for you rather than risking and doing it yourself. (or wait for another....replacement)

I agree with lordnikon......if your original one came with it but the replacement doesn't, Dell can either send another replacement which includes BT, or they can send a tech out to move it into your replacement.

On my laptop it's simple to remove/replace the internal Bluetooth card. Your manual should show you how, but on mine you remove the battery and there's a small "door" on the end. It plugs in.

i added bluetooth on mine, its really simple

remove your battery, unscrew the screws under there, they are labeled with M2 text

remove the plastic hinge covers by placing your fingertip in the gap

lift the media bar + speaker cover up towards the screen, then located directly under the XPS M1330 logo should be the bluetooth in its own little niche. Unplug it and you're set.

i would have video taped it but i couldn't hold the camera and work on the laptop at the same time :)
