Does anyone know when the 600m is going to be replaced and by what. The computer has been out for a while now and the more i learn about it, the more arcaic it appears. It's ports are useless and the ones that are useful it has too few of (ie no firewire port and two usb ports) Any information as to the release of another mobile laptop in the consumer division of dell would be much appreciated, i refuse to buy this laptop!!!

I was told I had the latest version of inspiron 8600 and high chipset available, but then there is the 9100. I subscribe to Computer Shopper magazine. The only person who can really tell you is Michael, I met Michael Dell at a CES in Las Vegas, I was introduced to Yves Farouja, Omar Bose, Mathew Polk and few others you would know. The reason I got the V.I..P. treatment was because my tractor trailer had no broken pieces on it from Austin, TX and San Francisco, CA ports where the Japanese stuff was coming in from.

I was asked for for quite a few trips and Bolinger champaigne James Bonds favorite if I didn't break anything. I was a pro up until a 89 year old decide to back up in the middle lane in CT, I had chldren on my right and a pick up on my left. Dell computers owner is Michael Dell ask him if you have his e-mail address. Stay abreast of C-Net, Intel, and the sellers themselves to see what's coming out.I knew about the Wilamette project before the Intel 4 came out, I was lucky I clicked on Intel got a bulletin and told the world about wilamette, I didn't do something stupid like that 17 year old kid announcing De-CSS (Content Scramble System hack to record) along with a jail sentence. Sorry I couldn't come up with anything definate, just keep your ears peeled for bulletins.
