    replacing harddrive in 9300?

    is this possible? i searched and couldnt find anything.. my friend whos got one also wants to get a bigger harddrive.. rightnow hes got a 60gb and wants like 100-120.. is it possible to replace?

    Yes, you can replace the hard drive. I did it with my 9300 without any problems.

    Yes you can upgrade the hard drive, currently I believe the largest laptop drive is only 100 gigabytes. It might be more cost effective for him to just buy an external hard drive either notebook sized drive or a desktop sized external drive where you can get a really large capacity of say 250 to 300 gigabytes for the same price you would pay for a new laptop hard drive of 100 gig capacity. An external drive would use a USB port

    You can take the old hard drive and put it in a case for extra storage or backups.

    note that you will need an external power source if u decide to go with a 3.5" drive instead of a 2.5" drive

    The largest notebook hard drives 120GB now.

    I just looked at some external drives at best buy, the normal 3.5 inch external drives will offer you a much larger capacity and a better price than the 2.5 inch drives will.

    sorry for replying so much later but i heard that external drives wear out a lot faster like if i was to use it to store all my music for itunes and whatnot
    not sure just what i heard
