on my 1420 when i open the lid to resume from sleep mode my resolution would sometimes drop from 1440x900 to 1024x768. it happens about 70% of the time. the other 30% of the time the screen just flickers black for a second and it's all good. anyone else get this?

    Hey Mate,

Having the same problem here on a new Dell 1520 with Vista preinstall. When the computer is woken up from sleep mode the resolution drops to the lowerst possible setting.

Seems to happen almost all the time the computer is put to sleep.

Other people are having the problem as well.

I guess its best to email Dell about it as it appears to be a driver problem.
