    I ordered a laptop for my cousin for college on Thanksgiving, however my cousin family is not at home all the time, so we decided to use the work address that her mom owned. The laptop build and shipped ontime then they got delayed be cause billing does not matching shipping address. I called dell and confirmed everything up to five freaking times and they 're like " ur address is confirmed we'll ship to ur work place instead" they say that all over again and the laptop never come.

    Long story short, i just file a claim to get money back and got a 300$ laptop from blackfriday instead : :eek: :(

    Had the same situation as you. But I really need a laptop for school or I would've canceled in a heartbeat. The best I could do is wesel a little more money out of dell. I've gotten $140 in inconvenience refunds so far. Just threaten to cancel and you'll get money back.

    that was story of 2 months ago.. i haven't share with anybody yet. Yep, they cancel the order after 1 freaking month of delaying and getting refund.. of course refunt takes another month to go to the bank. .

    I was told my refund would tak 7 - 10 working days (up to 2 weeks), they came to collect my first M1330 on the 6th, and it arrived with them on the 7th, then on the 7th the courier came again to collect my replacment M1330, and it arrived with them on the 10th.

    I got a letter with the title "credit note" on Saturday, with the date 7th December 2007!

    I called VISA yesterday, and they confirmed that they did indeed recieve the refund just after the 7th!!

    Now I LOVE the fact that I got my refund before they even got their 2nd machine back!

    The refund is the ONLY good experience I've had with Dell! It was my 1st and LAST EVER Dell!!
