    nice article, bad lcd screen. The lcd screens quality control and ram prices aren't showing improvement at same level as shown by cpu's and gpu's technologies.

    From various postings in this forum one can conclude that getting a good LCD screen is pure luck.

    My previous laptop was a Dell Latitude and its screen was dull. Font's were not crisp. Which affected my vision and now I wear eyeglasses. My current 3 yr old fujitsu notebook is much better though. But now need a new notebook for larger diskspace and 1-2g ram.
