    Hello,

I received my Dell precision M4400 for two days now and I'm really desapointed about the quality of the screen. I would like to know: is it possible to change this screen by a more expensive one (by paying the difference of course).

    Thank you for your answer...

PS: I have actually a CCFL 1280x800 and i want to change it by a LED 1440x900

That'll be tough...they usually don't upgrade delivered sytems. The LED screen would also involve a new cover and such since the thickness of the screens are different....best bet is to return the laptop and reorder with a better screen.
what we're you thinkin with ordering that screen anyway!?!? Lol

But I can't return the laptop since i ordered my laptop through my company and i heard that the retraction right is only accorded for private orders... .

PS: I choosed the CCFL screen because i had heard that the LED screens cause eye strains, and i had before a ccfl screen with the same resolution on my previous laptop and i was completely satisfied with it. But this new one is really poor quality. little angle spread, very bad representaion of colors... .
