    screen flicker on 1420 when opening/waking up

    I noticed that, if I close the lid on my 1420 for a bit, or put it to sleep, the screen will turn on when I open it, flicker to black for a quick second, and then back to the desktop. Anyone else noticing the same thing? Is this a normal behaviour for the screen?

    Yes, it happens on my 1720 as well. I believe it's related to Vista disabling Aero on sleeping then enabling Aero upon wakeup.
