Hello, can someone help me. I have a friend who owns an inspiron 6000. This morning the screen darkened on her. I mean you can still see stuff but it is just a bit dark and it strains theeyes. I tried brightening the darn thing but all that happens is andthis is weird but things just brightens until it is not visible tried contrast but no luck don't know what is wrong. Was looking if you have a system restore but couldn't find it. Can anyone diagnose my situation

solved the problem. the breaker was out on that plug that my computer was plugged in and i did not know. So thecomputer was operating off the battery and so the computer launched itself in a power save mode. As soon as i tripped the breaker the power setting changed and the screen brightened.
