i ordered the 1520 with the 1660x1200 or whatever that screen size is. and i ordered the 8400 nvidia card.

first i didnt really want this screen but kinda got stuck with it because i didnt want to wait so long for shipping because the other screens are delayed.

i just relized the current LCD screen i have on my desktop is only 1200x800 and i dont even run it on full resolution. i just turned it up to 1200x1080 and some of the text is pretty hard to read. i think my current screen is 17".

from the sounds of it do you think i should bite the bullet and downgrade my screen? also if i do down grade do you think i should go with the 1200x800 glossy because with my current settings now 1200x1080 is pretty hard to read or should i go with the 1440x1080 which seems to be pretty popular?

i know it is hard for you guys to choose for me but i just need a little advice.

i also choose the 8400 GPU and will that be a problem driving the 1660x1200 screen? i dont do much gaming either.

if you are happy with your current screen at 1280 x 800 then i think that if you dont mind the smaller realestate then it should be ok.

Also take into account that running the 8400m at 1280 x 800 will take up less rescources for the gpu then at the 1600 resolution.

yeah thats the think i run my 17" LCD moniter at 1157x---- normally and right now running it at 1200x1080 just to get the feel of the higher resolution is more then enough for me. so i have a feeling i will be upset if i stay with the 1660x1200.

also how do i find the DPI?
