    scroll pads on my dell i6000 stopped working :(

    i just got my dell i6000 today (i love it). the only thing i dont like/messed up on my own without knowing it is that the scroll pads on the touch pad stopped working. do you have any idea how i might of done this and how i could go about fixing it?

    control panel > mouse properties > gestures

    not working for me, i dont have that in my mouse thing from the control panel. it goes controll panel, mouse, then a box with tabs "buttons" "pointers" "pointers options" "Wheel" and "Hardware", none of which have a gestures option.

    anybody have any ideas? i tried dell support over the phone but i was on hold for 30 min, and then i got disconnected from the person i was speaking too.

    did you reformat? if so, you should update your mouse driver like SG said. i have the 6000 and it's there for me.

    edit: 'gestures' should be a tab of its own

    haha, i feel stupid. i stopped it from starting up in msconfig by acciddent. i tried it and it worked so i set it to start up every time i boot up my computer. well, thanks for the help!
