well I have the headphone noise, I'm going to send it in for another and hope I get one of the 30% that don't have the problem.

practically everyone has the headphone noise. just use rmclock.

Isn't rmclock only used to fix the CPU whine by preventing the CPU from entering one of the speedstep modes that produce the noise?

Since its a mobo problem..you can see if Dell will give you the X-fi expresscard for free....I think I saw where a few people have been successful with this...i may try it myself.

the rmclock makes the notebook run hot and does not end all the noise problem, and the expresscard sticks out some. The notebook should work as advertise.
