    hi
i called and after talking for a while i convinced them my screen is grainy and i'm sending it in.

the main problem isn't graininess though, it's one of the bottom hinges breaking off. so i was wondering, when i send it in, will they replace the whole screen which automatically fixes the hinge? or will they fix it somehow to only fix the graininess which really isn't a HUGE problem.

the guy i was talking to said if the screen has cracks they won't replace it and it doesn't so...

but if i did they would say i dont have warranty for that problem (accident and whatever). i have the limited one so they won't repair it.

it's pathetic really, i just opened my laptop and pop it broke off. and i only had the laptop for 3 months.

Um, if the graininess isn't the main or only problem, why don't you just tell them about ALL the problems? There are only two possibilities:

    1) You are covered and they will just say OK.

    2) You aren't covered but you're trying to sneakily get them to give you something you don't deserve.

Gee, I wonder which one it is? I will ponder this for a few months and get back to you.

-they sent me the laptop 2 weeks late.
    -the screen is grainy.
    -the harddrive clicks alot.
-the screen hinge just breaks off randomly after opening the screen = bad parts.

now tell me how i don't deserve to get it fixed.

oh yea and i did tell them about the hinge and they told me to take pictures which i did. they didn't receive the email for some reason (i sent it like 4 times) and just said bah send it in.

Why is it that when I asked you a question about why you didn't tell them about the broken hinge, you suddenly say "well, they sent me the laptop late, so I deserve to get it fixed anyways"? If you "deserve" to get it fixed, then you deserve to get it fixed. The fact that the hard-drive clicks a lot doesn't have anything to do with the screen. If you dislike the computer, by all means return it immediately; however, to act like "woe is me, I'm compelled to keep this piece of junk, so I deserve freebies in return" is B.S.

Also, all of a sudden now you're saying you DID tell them about the hinge and yet you initially were like, "hey, think they'll repair that, too, since that's the real problem?" Which doesn't match up.

You know what? Sometimes it sucks to have to pay for things. However, that doesn't justify NOT paying for it. Will I change your behavior? Nope. That's your choice.
