Hi, is it possible to set the cpu performance to always highest?
The cpu always clocks down to 980 MHZ but I want to keep it constantly 1.66GHZ. Sorry if this is a really basic(stupid) question but I've been a mac user for a long time, and I have no idea how to do this.

Make sure your power settings are set to home/office. That should solve your problem

You can use Notebook Hardware Control as well.

If you have Dell's Quickset installed, you can switch between power management profiles quickly and it does have a maximize performance profiel.
