I'm totally sick and tired of getting tossed around like whore, being transferred from one dept. to another (usually the wrong one)
Anyways, I ordered my Vostro 1500 online sometime back. Its still in production stage. I wanted to downgrade my ram from 1GB to 512MB.
I tried talking to sales but they kept on sending me back to switchboard operator, instead of sending me to small-biz. And when I reached small-biz, he sent me back to home & home office .. wtf?

Anyone knows what number I should dial, and which dept. should I speak to?

They saved you from getting a slow machine probably! These days you should have 1GB at least in my opinion.

Try calling this number. Straight from the website. To cancel, change, Order Status or Return information - 1-877-773-3355 ext. 7261843.
This is the number I used to call and change my order. The people I talked to were very kind and got it done quickly.
