I just got my new dell inspiron 700m today.
    After almost 2 hours running, I found it's so hot,nearly 90 degree.
I readed the reviews about 700m, some guy said it is always cool.
I'm wondering something wrong with my new machine?
    Does anyone have such experience?
    Need your comments. Thanks

If that is 90F that is normal. It would translate to about 30C and that is what my 9300 runs at. If it was 90C it would probably be on fire.

I am also a 700m user.... I don't find the machine running hot... but just out of curiosity... how can I check the temperature of my machine?

If you want your laptop to be slightly cooler than you could get more RAM, which would mean less hits to the hard drive, which means a cooler machine.
