    something weird !!
    when u configure ur dell normally from dell website
    u find the base model with 749$
    u find they offer it with a 250 gb hdd and 6 cell battery

    plz check this site for dell home also i cant remember how i went there but it still 749 and offers the 320 gb and 8 cell in there basic config

    I read a "whistleblower" sorta post somewhere written by a person who worked at a Dell Kiosk that configuring the same system multiple times results in different prices. You should actually do this before purchasing to hope that you can chance upon the cheapest price and then purchase that particular instance of the same configuration.
