I recently purchased an e1705. I am finding that the sound is too high in the lowest setting. Is there any way to change the settings of the sound in order to provide more adjustment/lower sound?

yes, in the task bar, there should be a louspeaker symbol.

Double click that. A new window should appear called volume control. The first two bars saying Volume And Wave.

Adjust the Wave bar first. What this basically does is edit the range in which increase/decrease the volume.
