i replaced my 500gb 7200rmp hard drive of my dell studio 1569 with a 750gb 5200rmp one. Now i can't get sound. I formatted the hard drive and got a new windows but still is not working. I check the sound icon on windows and it show the mute sign and it states no speaker or headphones plugged in.i tried connecting eternal speakers but it didn't work. Please help

Assuming you still have it, does it still work with your old drive and OS install?

Did you install the proper drivers? Did you check to see what is going on with your sound devices in device manager?
