i did a search, and only two threads came up concerning the color. i guess spring green isn't that popular? anyways, it's kinda hard to tell what the color looks like just from the pictures, so to anyone who has it, could i get an opinion about the color and how it fits the laptop? also, does it seem like a more feminine type of color for a laptop? thanks.

Its a nice color and my sister got it for her 1520 but wont get it untill the 3rd. Seems like a popular color since its one of the back ordered color and yea its probably more of a feminine color.
-
I went with green (and I'm wondering if it's going to cause my 1520 to be delayed). I don't think it's a feminine color, but your mileage may vary. There haven't been a whole lot of pictures of it floating around that I could find, either.
-
It's a soft, minty green--quite beautiful imo. I would consider it feminine, but that worked for me . . .
-
There is one good picture of spring green floating around here somewhere. It looks really good. I think all the micro satin finishes look great.. Although the Pink might not look right with a guy... Its still a very nice shade pink. Dell did some study on color tones. The only color I have not seen is the white. I don't think thats a micro satin finish. I know there are others on this forum waiting for white inspiron pics.

i received my spring green inspiron 1520 today.i am not sure 'bout the feminine thing but it really please the eyes. its sobre and does not attract much attention and does not look gaudy at all... i might post a few pics, only problem is my camera is out of order...

For some reason the green makes me think of Prius automobiles.
It looks cool, to me. It was my 2nd choice behind blue. -
Here's the thread of someone with a spring green 1520 with a lot of pictures

I personally hate the color, but I hate all the colors except white and black -
i realized that the pics i've posted here of the spring green is lighter than what it is in real life, so i adjusted this pic to come close to the "real" spring green color. please don't mind the discoloration of the media buttons, focus on the lid's color.

PINK! lol just kidding. i think the ruby red looks cool. go with whatever color you like. green, yellow, red..so many choices..i wish they would give you a choice of a lighter blue.like sky blue or something. that would be cool. hope you find what works!

bump....
hey wawi, are you male or female? most owners of spring green are female. -
I had a (male) customer order in the spring green inspiron and it looks nothing like the picture posted in the thread, not even close. The spring green is actually very elegant looking IMO and would suit both male and females just fine. I think it looks great.
-
I ordered the green. I'm not femmy
...but my wife is, and she wanted Pink....can we say compromise
And I hope to God it looks nothing like that photoshop above -
I asked my fiancee if I should get the green or the blue. Funny enough she likes the blue and thinks I should get the green for myself.

Well, i´m a man and i took spring green because it´s a very fresh colour and makes you smile when you see it.
-
I'm a girl - but the color makes me smile when I see it too!
Here's something else to compare it to - I own a Sprint Fusic phone, which comes with four different color choices for the front. The green front looks very very close to the spring green - only the phone is metallic colored, while the laptop isn't.... -
This thread is a sigh of relief for me haha... i was starting to get the jitters about choosing the green, but now both seeing it in more pics and reading what you guys put here makes me confident again in my choice.
Im male btw. lol -
I'm a male and my favorite color happens to be that very green, so the color choice for me was obvious. It really does look like a beautiful, peaceful color to look at, at least in pictures.
spring green...any thoughts?
