    yea, my LCD is buzzing with static noise and looks like a fluorescent light wen its near the end of its life wen the notebook is on battery power....anyone kno wut might be wrong with it?.....do i need to call dell for replacement?....

    Could be something with your battery not being powerful enough, is it one of the ones that were recalled? that would be my first guess.
