    studio 15 display resume problem

    hello all. i just got my studio 15 today :D . and so far i am loving it (considering its my first laptop). but i have noticed a little problem and was wondering if theres a reason to it or a way to fix it. the problem is that when i am using the laptop and go away for a couplde minutes i close it shut. but when i open it once again the keyboard and everything lights up except for the display. can any1 help me on this or is this happening to any1? replys are appreciated. thanks

    What setting do you have your power configuration set to when you close the lid? Is it simply set to turn off display?

    I had a similar problem which I believe i've fixed (It was an intermitant problem after all but I havnt had the problem for three days now) by updating my machine to the latest Dell Bios. I suggest going to dell.com, going to the support section and install the latest bios and hopefully that fixes the problem!
