I've noticed that once in a while the volume buttons (?) get weird, like right now, mute and volume up is flashing and volume down is on steady, earlier, in addition to the volume controls, the eject cd was flashing and it was trying to eject a non-existant disk. I used fn-F10 and that stopped the eject cd issue, but the volume is still at it, the actual volume hasn't been changing

I would call Dell and have them replace it. I think it is a known issue that the eject function cycles though a few times coming out of sleep, but it shouldn't randomly do it.

Does in continue long after wake up? If it doesn't I think it is a similar issue many of us are facing. Just have to wait for Dell to issue a BIOS fix.
