    Hello Folks..

Please go through the following and give me your inputs ..

I was planning to buy a Dell Inspiron 640m.
    following config
    Core Duo T2250
    2 GB RAM
    120 GB HDD
    14.1" True Life
    Bluetooth

The cost of this setup was coming around $ 950 till Feb 25th.
Yesterday when I decided to order the machine I saw that Dell has increased prices and now the total setup costs me $ 1150.
Would the cost come down again in next few days ?
I would be going out of US for couple of months on March 23rd, so I need laptop to be delivered to my place before that.
Should I wait or place an order right now ? Approx how many days they will take for Delivery ?

Mods If you feel this is not the correct Thread to post .. Please move it to appropriate Place..

Why don't you just call them to see if they can offer it to you at the $950 price? If you have a printout or some sort of physical proof, I think they sometimes will give it to you at that price.

DELL's prices goes up and down all the time, no telling what will happen tomorrow or next week. But in general they always go down over time.

Try and see if you can get a coupon from ebay to bring the price down a bit more
