    Is it possible to swap the screens like the Hds when i do a system exchange? I wanna know just in case i get a bad screen on the new system

    Anyone think this is possible or would i just have to take the screen good or bad?

    Yeah, it's not a problem at all. You could just take off the entire LCD casing and switch them out so you don't have to mess with taking it apart and swapping LCDs.

    ok, heres my situation. My screen doesn't turn back on sometimes when i open the lid and its not in any sleep modes. i was told that this was a windows conflict and i wouldn't need a system exchange. I already ordered a windows restore cd. I am a bit more swayed towards the system exchange because when i opened up the laptop to change the keyboard, i saw that the metal underneath is not perfectly smooth and has demented metal. (dunno how to describe it but its an inperfect surface and it bothers me just thinking about it). So system exchange or just reformat cause this problem only ouccred 3 or 4 times.

    I'd try a reformat first. If that doesn't work, then try for the system exchange.

    yea i think i'll try that do u really think it will take 5 to 7 days for the cd to come? I ordered my replacement keyboard and got it the next day hope its the same for the cd.
