On another thread, I was using the XT2 as an example. A user mention, "the Dell XT2, isn't that a $5000 laptop??"
My response was "Yeah...... Wait ...... What???"
The user posts this link:
http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/pro...laptop-latitude-xt2?c=nz&l=en&s=bsd&cs=nzbsd1
I click through and see, sure enough, it's $5K. Then I scroll the list on the right of everything that is included. I saw the Media dock and thought, "OK, that's isn't worth $2K. What else could it possibly be."
That it is being shipped to friggin New Zealand.
I feel sorry for ya'll living in Tasmanian Devil land. No wonder you guys buy laptops from local resellers.
To the New Zealanders: Is this the first result that shows up when you search for the XT2???

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
5700 New Zealand dollars is roughly 4000 United States dollars. Cheaper, but definitely just a bit overpriced.

It's only €1.449 here with the basic config...no upgrades whatsoever but that's a HUGE difference with the roughly $4.000
