someone said i should change this and i cant find this anywhere?? i think this could def be my issue.. please does anyone know if i can actually change this and if so where??? ive tried everything to fix the whites on my auo and if not this one is gone as well.. i cant even look at it for very long its just bad on the eyes... and the whites are just horrible.. my 24" desktop and even the new 22" cheap acer i picked up today BLOW THIS AUO away... no contest.. this doesnt have the grain that most have it just has awful color.. it looks like the acer if i set it to cool and turn all the color controls to make it look washed out.. and ive been trying to adjust it for like 2 hours now to make it look acceptable..

any info would be great thanks

Sorry, but it can't be done. I was tweaking around with my replacement Vostro intended to fix the headphone buzzing noise. Unfortunately, the headphone jack still made noise, and they silently gave me the dreaded AUO screen. I tried tweaking the contrast, brightness, and gamma with no success. It was impossible to get rid of the yellowish tint, bad dithering, and horrid backlight.

yep agreed this screen is nasty bad... i have no grain or light bleed but the colors blue and white are just horrid to look at... they are now sending me a third one now, i told them if i get another auo they will be sending a fourth or poss a fifth or giving me a refund.. i have them on audio recording telling me this as well with their permission.. this auo is getting boxed back up right now and getting sent out tomm .... forget this thing
