The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

you NEED TO CALL AND COMPLAIN.. AND COMPLAIN SOME MORE . THEN CALL BACK AND COMPLAIN AGAIN.... when you get no where tell then you want their supervisor, if they even remotely say they cant help you tell them you want the escalation dept... they WILL DEAL WITH THE MATTER ... trust me.. i also today spoke with someone in dell corporate (or at least thats how they introduced themselves since i called and left a message with a regional rep asserting my complaints.. they wanted to know what the situation was.. ) the new deal i got is ridiculous the old one cant even compare.. i am spending a bit more overall but getting much more for it.. i configured a system for near 1850$ and im using the 325 coupon and then getting an additional 300$ credit plus the upgrade the 1680 for free as well.. so dont be afraid to dish it out to them... do it, if you feel your issue is big to you then express it to them..
