The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. The notebook looks pretty beatup; almost like they took the screen out of the cover and then Photoshop'd the Vista taskbar and Recycle Bin onto the image.

Definitely a fake, and if you can't see that it is, I won't bother describing the obvious reasons it is.

It's obviously a fake, but it would be cool, if somehow they came out with transparent screens like that, that only "paste" on the screen images from your desktop. That would be so cool.

there was a tutorial on how to do this before a while back. someone took a picture and did this on their powerbook at their desk. basically you take a picture and put it on your desktop then align the monitor up to where it would be. while this one may be fake, im not one to say, but the idea is feasible and has been done and proven before.

My first thought upon seeing that was, do they have screens now that can look that clear outside on such a sunny day?
