    im from india.im buying dell xps with 3 year international warranty from saudi arabia.can i transfer warranty to india?should i have to pay extra as it is covered under international warranty ?does it come with complete cover? can i convert it to regional warranty?

    It depends on the region of origin and the warranty options you have there. In my case, I purchased the system from the USA and got the 4 year gold complete care package with international warranty. Upon arrival of the system to me here in the Philippines, I completed the International Tag Transfer form ( here). Your request should be completed within 30 days - mine took three.

    Once you receive the confirmation e-mail of your completed tag transfer, you can now avail of the local service and warranty coverage in your new area. Read the fine print and find out what your coverage is in India. Some countries only offer Parts Only warranties, which means you still have to pay for all diagnostics or labor fees (or anything else on top which does not include the price of the actual parts themselves.)
