    trouble with microphone in dell Vostro

    I bought a vostro laptop in September. But I had a problem with microphone when I connected it to my laptop. It worked well with my PC but with vostro, when I speak into the mic, the sound didn't come to my PC speaker.
    I have checked the volume control but it has had nothing wrong.

    Are you trying to listen to what you are speaking into the Mic? Or are you saying it doesn't record at all?

    I am trying to listen to what I am speaking into the Mic.
    When I speak into the Mic the person who are chatting with me in Yahoo or Skype can hear what I say, but I can't
