Hello all,
I was inquiring as to the type of memory that is used in an e1705; I am under the understanding that PC 5300 will work but I am not sure about PC 5400. The reason I am asking is because I am ordering some hardware off of tiger direct and for some reason they do not carry the PC 5300, only the PC 5400. I know newegg has the memory I need but I do not want to have two separate shipping orders if I do not have to. Will the PC 5400 work in the
e1705?
Thanks,
Ed

533MHz and 667Mhz
I usually go to crucial.com just to see what they sell since they have a pretty good selector based on specific laptop.... -
CS- Thank you for the quick response. Going to crucial .com I noticed that they do not reccommend PC 5400 memory to put in an e1705; but it does not make any sense why tiger direct would supply the PC 5400 memory and not the PC 5300. Has anyone out there successfully installed PC 5400 memory?

there is no need to go with ddr2 667. it has been proven that there is no diffrence in performance. -
