hi all, i have succesfully undervolted my xps m1530 (t7250) from 1.175V to 1.00V!

I was just wondering do i have to have the "RMClock Power Management" power plan selected in the power options menu for this undervolt to work? or will it still be in effect in say the high performance or power saver plans? I was under the impression aslong as rmclock was running the undervolt would take effect?

    thanks for your help :)

It will still be in effect regardless of Vista profile. It will only take over the CPU management unless you also want RMclock to take over the whole power management.

RMclock also has advanced power settings btw, go to your performance on demand profile and click OS settings near the top. It will have the same settings/options as Vista offers.

Personally i let RMclock take care of all the power management.
