Has any 1 undervolted their E1405? what were the results and what did u use to do it?
-
I've thought about doing it, but I haven't gotten around to it. I will use Notebook Hardware Control. The notebook doesn't run very hot and it seems fine on batteries, so I haven't really had much motivation to undervolt it yet.
NHC lists the lowest multiplier (6) @ 0.9500V, and doesn't allow the option to reduce the voltage from there. Anything multiplier above 6 is allowed to have the voltage lowered. I'd prefer to be able to lower the lowest multiplier since it sits in that multiplier most of the time. -
can undervolting hurt my laptop?

No. Overvolting/overclocking will. Undervolting in past experience can cause stability issues if you undervolt too much, but other than that, there is no risk to your hardware.
