    2 GB RAM
    C2D T7500
    8400GS (163.44 ForceWare)

Unreal tournament 3 will just not run good... I thought maybe it was because of my graphix card, but gamespot showed that a x1300 could run it maxed at 15 FPS (reso 1600*1200)... I run it at 1024*768 all low or off and i get worse performance...

    Any ideas??
    tnx...

I assume you're using a laptop - try going back to Dell's stock drivers - I've had a few Lv2Go releases give me worse performance and.or artifacts on my 8400M GS, where Dell's 156.69 were perfect.

I have a T5470 (1.6ghz) and 2gb of ram with a Geforce 8400m gs 128mb and I can pull of off about 30fps with all details on "2" on 1024x768 on the DEMO.

I imagine that the full retail version plays alot smoother, but since I'm poor, I'm not willing to save up for it - especially since I still have UT2004 to play around with :)

why are people with the m1530 chiming in? obviously if you have a better laptop you can run it better.

    I have a Vostro 1400 with a 128mb Geforce 8400m GS 128mb - the exact same card found in the M1330.

I can run the DEMO - with its unoptimized code - at a solid 30fps with a windowed 1024x768 resolution and graphics settings to "2". It's playable and rather smooth. I can imagine that the retail version with its patches would run even better.

So long story short, you can/will be able to play UT3 decently on the m1330.

However, I still feel that ut2004 is superior, but I'm also biased. :p
