if you had a "free" upgrade either from your:

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7500 (2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB, 4MB Cache)
    to
    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T7700 (2.4GHz/800Mhz FSB, 4MB Cache)

    or

    120GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
    to
Speed: 200GB SATA Hard Drive (7200RPM)

the latter would make more sense? the speed difference is pretty negible for the T7700 is it not? even though you wouldnt be able to change the T7700 later on it still doesnt provide much of a speed increase for overall use/gaming right?

The HD. PLus, you would be able to upgrade the CPU later on in most Dell notebooks. By then, the T7900 might be out or some Santa Rosa Quad cores.

yep i got the an upgrade from 120GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM) to 200GB SATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) for free because of the delay/cancelation/price change of blue tooth problems with Dell Canada.

he said i could either upgrade the hard drive or the processor... i felt that the t7700 wouldnt have made that much more of a difference and chose the hard drive (since i was planning to upgrade it afterwards anyways, where it would have cost an extra $200-$300)
