    just wondering whether or not is possible to upgrade the cpu in the dell e1505 from a core duo T2300E to a merom when they're released

    Yes you can physically upgrade the processor, but a Bios upfgrade will be required for it to actually run properly on the laptop. It's up to Dell to actually release one as well. They may or they may not.
