You'll be going for the 3GB option. There are only two RAM slots in 99.99% of notebooks.

You will need a 2gb stick and remove one existing 1gb stick to make it 3gb.

I have 2 gigs of RAM in my M1330. Is it worth the upgrade to 4 gigs, even though Vista will really only recognize around 3 gigs of RAM?

People have reported that this laptop will recognize approximately 3.5 gigs when 4 is installed.

If you are running a number of programs or gaming on this machine, than you will probably notice a decent improvement.
If you are just a road warrior and using it for Microsoft Office, than I wouldn't bother.
