i am waiting to recieve my new m1330 next week . it comes with 2gb of ram (2x1024). i have an extra stick of 1gb which i would like to add to this laptop.is that possible? or do i need to have one stik of 2gb and one of 1gb to achieve 3gb...sorry if it sounds stupid question.

You'll be going for the 3GB option. There are only two RAM slots in 99.99% of notebooks.

thank you guys...that was very quick

I have 2 gigs of RAM in my M1330. Is it worth the upgrade to 4 gigs, even though Vista will really only recognize around 3 gigs of RAM?

I want to know too, Someone who have some experience please let us know.

People have reported that this laptop will recognize approximately 3.5 gigs when 4 is installed.
If you are running a number of programs or gaming on this machine, than you will probably notice a decent improvement.
If you are just a road warrior and using it for Microsoft Office, than I wouldn't bother.
upgrading ram on m1330?
