My current card has 32MB and I'd like to upgrade to a 64mb card. How hard is this to do? I'm not that tech-saavy, so I'm not sure if this is something I should undertake. Is there anywhere I could look to get step-by-step instructions?

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. But I think the video card is built into the motherboard. So changing it would mean replacing the motherboard as well.

Braiot, you are correct, upgrading the video card on the 5150 is just not an option unless you replace the motherboard. in other words, you're kind of stuck with what you have.

I don't have the exact link, but if you go to Dell's website, under customer support, there is an option for service manual's for various systems. If you choose the 5150, there is a link on how to change the video cards

Actually, you can change the video card on the 5150. It's just not sanctioned by Dell.
I know several people who upgraded to a 64 MB from 32, and had no problems. Be warned though, this will void your warranty if Dell finds out.
There are instructions on the Dell website on how to change the video card.
You can order the video card thru Dell spare parts, but you have to keep calling to get the right person because they don't like to "sell" these.
