    Hi,

i was on my computer walked away came back my monitor went dark. i thought it was the simple power off monitor i had set but when i moved my mouse it didn't turn back on. so i couldn't shut down my computer correctly and had to hold my power button to turn it off. when the computer was starting back up where i saw the dell logo screen there were lines (not exactly lines, sort of dotted) running vertically across the screen. then when the loading windows logo came up same thing but a different color and did not appear as frequent.... when it finished loading and was suppose to come up to the user login screen it was black and nothing ever came up.

eventually i ran diagnostic and everything was fine except for the video test area (LCD test were fine too). it gave me the error code 5300:0119. so by now i figured theres something wrong with the video card. i booted my windows with safe mode and no streaks this time when on windows. i uninstalled my nvidia driver and rebooted the computer. during the boot up the lines still appeared but windows started up fine. i went and installed the latest driver for my video card and while the install was going it went black again and it just started all over.

ive installed the latest bios which is the a09 with no problems i also did this after i uninstalled the driver and it was after the bios flash when i installed the latest video card driver again. so thats my problem not sure exactly what to do or have an idea whats wrong..anyone have ideas?
